SERVING NORTH AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
Residential & Business Incentives
Federal incentives, grants, and low-interest loans are available for renewable energy systems placed on your home or business.
Commercial Solar Tax Credit Update
Good news for Arkansas businesses and farms: the commercial solar Investment Tax Credit (Section 48E) is still available through 2027 for qualifying projects. Commercial customers — including agricultural operations, poultry farms, and rural businesses — can still access significant federal incentives, especially when combined with the USDA REAP Program's 25% grant.
If you're a business owner or farmer considering solar, now is the time to act before commercial credits phase out.

Most systems have 8-15 year payback periods. It is like paying up front for 40 years of energy.

Rural Business and Farms
The USDA's REAP Program, or Renewable Energy for America Program, offers a 25% grant and loan guarantees to qualifying rural businesses. For example, a poultry farm could have over 55% of their system paid for, not including the 85% depreciation!
