Why now is the best time for businesses to go solar…

Federal tax incentives for commercial solar have recently changed. Eligible projects may qualify for federal tax credits of up to 30%, but important construction deadlines and eligibility requirements now apply. Starting your project sooner provides the greatest flexibility to maximize available incentives.

It’s also important to know that standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) have not been affected by the accelerated solar and wind deadlines. Qualifying BESS projects remain eligible for a 30% Investment Tax Credit through 2033 under current law, with potential bonus credits available for projects that meet domestic content, energy community, and labor requirements.
