High voltage 600V charge controllers for long transmissions

This 36 module ground mounted array is part of a 48 Volt off grid system close to DeQueen, Arkansas.   Because the array needed to be over 300 feet away from the location of the batteries and inverters, three high voltage charge controllers were selected to decrease costs of large cable runs.  This also will decrease the need for multiple home run cables if the modules were in series of three, resulting 24 home runs of UF cable, large combiners and breakers, and . In this system,  only 6 home run cables were needed.
